Then we visit an ancient Roman ruins from Fes. We drive just 30 minutes north of Meknes, near the religious city of Moulay Idriss, and we explore the well-preserved archaeological site of Volubilis. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, the Roman city of Volubilis likely had around 20,000 inhabitants at its peak in the 2nd century. See Volubilis at your own pace and to combine it with a visit to nearby Moulay Idriss which is one of the holiest cities in all of Morocco! Finally you will be driven back to your hotel in Fes in the late afternoon.
